Sign up before you fly home

Ideally 2–3 days before discharge. You sign the service agreement and the consent we need to transfer your medical data across borders.

We build your records package

We collect your discharge summary, operative notes, pathology and imaging from the hospital, then have the key documents professionally translated.

Follow-ups on a schedule

You send wound photos, local labs and questions. We route them to your Chinese team and return written answers — video calls when it matters.

Handoff to your doctor

Around day 90, your local physician receives a written handoff letter. From there your Chinese team stays available as an advisor.

Timeline

The first 90 days

Week 1–2

You are home. Wound care, activity limits and medication schedule follow the discharge instructions exactly. Send us photos if anything looks off.

Week 3–4

First local labs or imaging. You forward the results; your Chinese team compares them against your discharge baseline.

Week 6–8

Formal video follow-up. Medication adjustments, activity restrictions lifted or extended, next milestone agreed.

Day 90

Care transfers to your local doctor. Your Chinese team stays available as an advisor for the rest of your recovery.

Tip

Two things patients underestimate

Document translation takes 3–5 business days, and scheduling a video consultation across time zones can add a week. Book your first follow-up before you leave the hospital, not after you land.

Remote follow-up cannot examine you. Any emergency sign — fever above 38.5°C, wound redness or drainage, chest pain, sudden breathlessness — requires your local emergency department, not a video call.
