Yang Aiming

Director of the Digestive Endoscopy Center at PUMCH. His skilled hands are the "gold standard" for diagnosing early gastrointestinal cancers and complex pancreaticobiliary diseases. Since 1992, he has been one of the earliest practitioners of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) in China. Combined with ERCP techniques, he can precisely detect early-stage esophageal and gastric cancers and perform minimally invasive endoscopic resection, sparing patients from open surgery. His endoscopy technique is steady, precise, and gentle. He excels at managing complex bile duct stones and pancreatic cysts, enabling many elderly and high-risk patients to avoid major surgery. The PUMCH Digestive Endoscopy Center under his leadership has been a benchmark for the nation.
